Optional Purchase Editions and Upgrade Packs

Blizzard offers four optional paid digital and physical upgrade packs for cosmetics, bundled game time, and bonus features:

• Skyborne Heroic Pack ($29.99 USD / £29.99): Unlocks the new Skyborne Elves race and starting zone, the Cerulean Prideclaw mount, Windwell toy, and cosmetic items. (Note: Does not include beta access).
• Skyborne Epic Pack ($59.99 USD): Includes all Heroic Pack items, 30 days of Game Time starting at launch, and beta access.
• Warcraft Forever Collection ($79.99 USD): Includes all Epic Pack items plus Warcraft III: Reforged and the Forsaken Kingdom campaign.
• Physical Collector’s Edition ($150 USD): A physical box set containing a dwarf hunter statue, pins, art prints, a journal, and all Collection content.

Best WoW Forever Addons That Work at Launch

Because WoW Forever runs on the modern game client (version 1.60.1 / interface 16001), it incorporates modern interface features alongside API combat restrictions introduced in Midnight. Classic Era addon files will not load directly; players must install files specifically tagged for Forever in the World of Warcraft/forever/Interface/AddOnsdirectory.

Essential Working Addons for Launch

• Leveling & Navigation: Questie provides full map quest tracking, RestedXP Guides offers step-by-step leveling routes, and TomTom adds navigation waypoints.
• User Interface & Bag Management: Leatrix Plus and Leatrix Maps add general quality-of-life toggles and map enhancements. ElvUI (v16.00+) and Bartender4 supply complete UI and action bar replacements. For bags, Baganator and Bagnon provide unified inventory views.
• Combat & Dungeons: Details! Damage Meter and ThreatClassic2 offer detailed combat telemetry and threat tracking. Deadly Boss Mods (DBM) and BigWigs deliver boss timers for dungeons and raids, while AtlasLoot Classic Forever allows players to browse loot tables. Plater handles custom nameplates.

Status of WeakAuras and TSM in WoW Forever

• WeakAuras: The official WeakAuras addon has no native Forever build due to combat log restrictions. Community forks such as ForeverAuras and Musca Auras serve as functional alternatives, or players can rely on Blizzard’s built-in Cooldown Manager.
• TradeSkillMaster (TSM): TSM has no Forever version available. Auctionator serves as the primary replacement for fast scans and posting, alongside ForeverArtisan for profession pricing.
